The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) is a government authority, established in 1964 to manage the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme, a government-funded compensation scheme, set up to compensate victims of crime and violence in England and Wales, subject to certain qualifying criteria.
