Personal Injury

Product Liability

In some instances, product safety law can be used to bring claims involving personal injuries.

Manufacturers and in some cases, suppliers of goods or products are strictly liable for any injury caused by defects in those products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

The Act covers a wide range of possible defective products, ranging from electrical appliances to cosmetics, from toys to cars, and from furniture (including sofas) to hip replacement joints.

Should you suffer an injury due to a defective or faulty product, we can advise you on the procedures you will need to follow and assist you in obtaining any evidence that will support your claim for compensation.

Through its experienced, specialist Product Liabilty team, Gregory Abrams Davidson, LLP have pursued many cases successfully for breach of the duty imposed by this legislation.
